Starting with the goal of making a living, Shefu began in a home office that ran under the care of Lily Lee and her sisters and brothers. The small home business then received its first consignment opportunity offer from AEON CO. (M) BHD., which helped kick start the business.
The team began working on a proposal to gain its first hypermarket agreement in Tesco. Due to the fact that Shefu relatively new in the business along with their lack of retail background, the company did not have confidence in their business.
Deciding to press on, SHEFU later successfully introduced themselves as the hypermart household supplier
Shefu cookware began selling in Tesco with the Shefu 32cm 3 Tier Steamer and the 32cm Stainless Steel Chafing Dish & Flask spearheading the promotion.
Being completely new in the business, SHEFU successfully achieved their target.
Shefu achieved incredible sales and saw a 150% growth every year.
With the business growing so rapidly and the business capital running low, Lily faced another challenge in business cash flow.
After facing many trials and challenges, SHEFU successfully earned their contract in supplying for Giant Hypermarket in 2015.
